Do I need to integrate with my POS system?

No, you do not need to integrate Loyalty Gator with your point-of-sale system - you can use it as a stand-alone platform on your computer with internet access.

I want to connect Loyalty Gator with my existing systems, can I?

Possibly! If you are looking to integrate Loyalty Gator with your existing software, you can checkout our ready-to-go loyalty program integrations here via Zapier. If you are working with your own developers, you can ask them to integrate using our API.

How do customers sign up?

There are different ways your customers can sign up, depending on your preference:

1. Your staff can sign up a new customer in-store in person manually through the loyalty dashboard.

2. Your customers can sign up online, from your website, using a link we provide you.

3. If you have a list of customers already, you can batch import your customers to Loyalty Gator using an Excel or CSV file.

4. You can automate customer signups by using Zapier to connect/integrate with thousands of popular applications such as Google Sheets, Quickbooks Online, and many more. In this case, customer data is passed from your existing program into Loyalty Gator.

5. If you are working with developers, we provide you with our API so you can further automate how your customers sign up and integrate with your existing platforms.

How much will it cost?

We have plans starting from $59/ month (CAD). You can view our pricing plans here on our website for reference. Please note all listed plans include one location.

Can I import a list of customers?

Yes. If you have a list of customers you wish to import into your new loyalty program, you can do this using a CSV or Excel spreadsheet. Within the dashboard, you will find an import screen with steps how to add your customers and their info.

Do you provide support?

Yes, there are many ways you can access the support you need! We provide a support portal with tons of help docs and walk-through guides. You can always email our support team for fast responses. Plus, during your free trial period, we invite you to book your free onboarding call as you finalize your program setup.

Can I provide my own reward items?

Yes, you can certainly offer your own products or services as your loyalty rewards (for example 100 rewards = free coffee from your coffee shop).

Do you do reward fulfillment?

We do not send out physical products on your behalf. However, Loyalty Gator's Meal Plan integrates with an e-gift card catalog where you can add digital gift card rewards for different denominations for popular third party restaurants and vendors in your country. Some may include Starbucks, Uber, Xbox, Target, airbnb, Amazon, Apple, BestBuy, and many more! Rewards vary based on country.

Will Loyalty Gator work for my industry?

Probably! Loyalty Gator programs are so customizable, that businesses of all sizes are able to use the programs. If you are a retail shop, restaurant, gym, or service-based business such as a salon or auto repair we think Loyalty Gator will be a perfect fit!

We recommend you check with your legal team in regards to specific industries or products that are not legally allowed to include incentivized purchases.

We also have franchise and "buy local" loyalty program options as well as Enterprise level / white label organization licenses - contact us for details on these.

Can I run a buy X program?

Yes, you can add a "buy X get one free program" with Loyalty Gator.

Can I offer points for customers that refer a friend?

Yes, you can add bonus points for your loyal customers who refer a friend.

Do my customers need to download an app?

No! Your customers can click the link on your website to signup. Nothing to download. Easy.

What kind of reports or analytics can I get?

There are many reports you can access to identify your loyalty member actions and spending habits such as:

  • new customers within a specific date

  • all transactions within a specific date

  • customers that have not had a transaction in X days

  • customer point balance reports

  • customers with upcoming birthdays

Once you export your loyalty reports, there are so many ways you can organize the data depending on what information you want to collect. Identify all customers who bought a coffee in June or all customers who own a dog, etc.

Can I have multiple staff users?

Yes. You can add multiple staff users and set different permissions for each. For example, you may have one or two administrators who have access to everything but not require as much access for staff users that are only responsible for processing transactions every day.

Can I use my own branding?

Yes. You can use your own brand colors and upload your logo for your customer-facing portal so your loyalty program remains consistent with your existing website and marketing materials.

Can my customers sign themselves up for the program?

Yes. Loyalty Gator provides you with a link for your website where your customers can sign up themselves. Additionally, we provide you with in-store table tent cards featuring QR codes that your customers can scan to easily become a member.

Can I send emails or SMS to my loyalty members?

You can send emails when a customer signs up for your program online. You can also send transaction emails when they earn points. We strongly recommend setting up SMTP to send emails from your own domain and maximize email deliverability.

Currently, Loyalty Gator does not send automated SMS.

How many customers can I have on my program?

The number of customers allowed depends on your plan but as an example, $88/mo (CAD) will give you up to 5,000 customers. You can view our plans here .

Are there transaction fees?

No. There are no fees for customer transactions. If you are using our API for large volume or enterprise organizations, you will just need your API calls remain within the limits.

Do you provide an API?

Yes, all plans include use of our API if you are working with developers and integrating with your own platforms or apps.
